Alton Convent School is an independent Catholic day school[1] on the outskirts of Alton, Hampshire. It has approximately 450 [2] pupils of all faiths. The prep school educates boys and girls from the age of 2¾ to 11, and the senior school provides a broadly based academic education for girls from 11 to 18.

Alton Convent School was established in 1938 by the Sisters of Our Lady of Providence. Since then it has been located in the Anstey Manor House in Alton, Hampshire. The school enjoys a 19-acre (77,000 m2) campus, offering numerous sports fields as well as gardens and wooded trails. The school was founded on Catholic ideals and tradition but offers admission to students of all faiths.[3]
